| Example: I traced the clover 3 times and cut it into thirds. |
- Make a basic flag of Ireland using the orange, white and green construction paper. Divide into 3 equal parts.
- Using very simple outlines, make some St. Patrick's Day icons out of the remainder orange, white and green construction paper. Depending on how intricate the design, you may want to trace one icon multiple times onto each of the three colors of paper to extend the design over the entire flag. See example.

ReplyDeleteHi Aimee,
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I found you via TT and really like your site. I am following.
I don't have any children yet, but have worked with kids for the last 5 years and love collecting great ideas. I like how you emphasize the principles of art.
I used to have a mom who had several frames around her house and rotated pieces of her children's art every week or so. Much better than being on the fridge (although there is nothing wrong with that either.
Happy St. Patrick's Day.
