I learned how to live on the day you were born-
from our first embrace; my hands holding you, so warm.
To your first giggles, your first laughs and those first cries-
to the sleepless nights, the midnight paces and our sweet lullabies.
You put your tiny hand in mine; I'd wish the moment would last.
Before I knew it, time had slipped away and three years had past............
Your personality grows more as each day passes to the next-you are discovering who you are- one of whom I respect.
I embrace and cherish the moments that I get to share with you-
living out my youth and teaching all that little girls do.
For I know that there will be times ahead where we just won't relate-
times of turbulence and error; where we may separate.
And then there will come a day when I will have to let my little girl go-
Wishing you the best that life can bring, knowing what you know.
For now I will live in the moment, through the smiles and the laughter-
Knowing I will be there for you today and every time thereafter.
You have taught me how to live, and how to embrace life every single day-
You are truly a remarkable little angel- you will always remain that way.
Side note: I have three children; two boys and one girl sandwiched in between. I love all three of my children, and am very proud of them. I have never had a great mom-daughter relationship and was scared to death when I found out that I was going to have a little girl of my own! I am very blessed to have had her and to establish a relationship with her that I have never known. I love all three of you- Bubba, Diva and Little Man- you have taught me so much about myself and what I can accomplish!

made me teary eyed! lovely sentiments & I so FEEL them - cut straight to my heart as a mama to 2 lil girls! :)
